About Us

Visual Division is a visual arts team led by Jamie Dale, dedicated to experimental moving image.

We specialise in interactive visual installations, creative media production for live events and captivating video performance.

The Visual Division collective formed in 1999 and have forged a solid, reputable name on the festival and event scene in Europe and Australasia.

We focus on stunning installations of light and video sculpture as well as live performance visuals which involve audience interaction. Utilising the latest technology in motion capture and tracking we enable a full-on, interactive sensory experience. Our visual work shows we are passionate about moving image as an artform. We love the playful, adventurous and creative side of video.

Starting out in London, Visual Division performed at many of the UK’s festivals and played a key role in establishing the visual scene at music venues. We have backgrounds in music production, audio engineering, graphic design, photography, animation and fine arts.

Our shared skills work cohesively together and bring the viewer pixel perfect shows with interactive engagement.

Visual Division are endorsed by manufacturers of VJ hardware; Edirol and Roland and by the VJ software company; Resolume.
